The Department of Science and Technology - Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) conducts the National Invention Contest and Exhibits (NICE) biennially to give due recognition to meritorious scientific research and breakthroughs and to further encourage diligent efforts in innovation.
NICE is essentially a celebration of Filipino creativity and ingenuity. It inspires national pride while encouraging the pursuit of innovative endeavors.
AHG Lab CEO Rene Cuartero joined as a speaker, where he spoke about the challenges entrepreneurs and inventors face in the Philippines from the perspective of a venture studio. He spoke about the capital formation that's been increasing in the country, but zoomed in on challenges entrepreneurs face as highlighted in numerous studies and surveys created in the last year.
